Participate in studies required for Site Preparatory works and Civil works execution/ construction.
Participate in site survey and construction planning and Methodology for civil works at the Work Sites.
Ensure that the Project Statement of Requirements and engineering dossier requirements are met safely, while maintaining quality within budget and schedule.
Review all Civil and Structural Engineering designs and site preparatory works shop drawings in line with procedures, COMPANY specifications and standards in readiness for implementation on site.
Participate in HAZID, HAZOP, PTR, JRA and relevant audits and assessments.
Preparation/Review/Validation and handling of Work Permits before and during site construction work .
Carrying out Initial review of detailed Engineering Dossier: HSE Plans, Civil works Procedures, QA/QC Plans & Job Safety Analysis.
Supervise the close out of all Punch list Items prior to Contractor’s demobilization from site.
Supervise the mark Up/Update of As-built drawings upon completion of site construction works.
Supervise the preparation of daily and weekly summary reports on every milestone of construction to line head.
Follow up on the scheduling and coordination of Project Kick Off and Progress Meetings.
Supervise the planning of project coordination meetings for Civil Works activities.
Participate in site pre-bid visit and scope clarification with contractors.
Participate in analyzing technical proposals by contractor and ensure compliance with specifications and standards and communicate with relevant technical authority and PMT.
Follow up fabrication activities on site and in contractors’ fabrication yards to ensure compliance with engineering designs.
Ensure volumes/quantities of materials for construction (concrete, shutter and other materials) are fully complied with by the contractor.
Supervise site construction activities of Roads, Culverts, drainages, Foundations, pipe support structures, bund walls, ramps etc.
Supervise the execution of site Earthworks and preparatory activities in line with design standards and technical details.
Plan and supervise the execution of site Earthworks excavation and backfilling along Pipeline ROW and all preparatory activities in line with design standards, safety and technical details.
Supervise and follow up the setting out on site for the entire layout of the site including roads, buildings, foundations, shelters, fences,
drainages, water channels and culverts, construction camps etc and ensure it is consistent with design drawings
Supervise preparation of PT slab systems, pocket formers, strands, dead and live anchors, wedge grips, etc.
Supervise setting out of bonded and unbonded post tension strands (Critical points to be monitored).
Supervise surface preparation and block work setting out, laying and installation on site using pre-established control axes and coordinates on ground.
Supervise and monitor all necessary earthworks and concrete testing procedures including Pile load test, Concrete slump and
strength tests, compressive strength, field density test, geotechnical investigations etc in line with the relevant standards and industry
codes, including reviews and reporting.
Ensure close interface with FOPs, ECP, Engineering and Construction contractors throughout Engineering, Procurement
Construction and commissioning phases to ensure delivery of Project, tie-in and Modification.
Liaise with QA/QC Department in ensuring that all material inspection, concrete and soil tests hold points are done.
Liaise between Civil works Contractors and Other Total Departments.
