Job Descriptions

• To check inventory records for accuracy
• Keeping records of items shipped, received, or transferred to another location
• To find, sort, or move goods between different parts of the business
• To compile reports on various aspects of changes in production or inventory.
• To ensure that the store is kept clean and organised, maintain receipts, records, and withdrawals of the stockroom, unload and store supplies, perform other stock-related duties, including returning, packing, pricing, and labelling supplies, inspect deliveries for damage or discrepancies, and more.
• To ensure proper authorization for all goods entering and leaving the warehouse
• To check and input supplies into the warehouse inventory system
• That bin locations are maintained in a well-ordered manner, that packaging is appropriate, and that documentation is organised.
• Ensure that materials being shipped out of state are correctly packed and protected.
• Liaise with the warehouse supervisor regarding any receiving issue.
• Ensure to adhere strictly to the company's occupational health and safety policies and guidelines.
• Coordinate with the OHS coordinator and investigate all reported incidents (near-misses and accidents).

Requirements

• BSc. or HND in any discipline
• A minimum of one (1) year of hands-on experience
• Good in technical matters
• Must have worked in a warehouse
• Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
• Proficiency in Microsoft applications, including Word and Excel
