Collaborates with the Store team and other necessary departments to provide timely delivery of construction materials to sites• Drive safely and deliver materials within deadlines.
Analyze delivery address, determine appropriate routes and maintain schedule.
Report any accidents or injuries to Supervisors
Help load and unload materials when necessary.
Perform daily vehicle inspection.
Notify supervisors about repairs and maintenance of vehicle/vehicle parts on identification of faults.
Obey local and state driving laws and road regulations.
Clean vehicle daily.
Adhere to company operating policies and procedures.
Ensure documentation of vehicle performance forms and driving log
Provide special care in delivering fragile and hazardous materials.
Ensure items on waybill tally with the transported items.
Ensure that waybill accompanies any material to be transported to any site.
Skills / Educational Requirements
Candidates with at least an SSCE
Minimum of 5 years experience.
Able to communicate orally and in writing
Ability to drive a Bus
Valid driver’s license and other required documents by Lagos Laws
Certificate of driving school
Adept at following traffic rules and regulations and is familiar with Lagos's routes.
