As the Executive Director, you will be responsible for leading the origination and execution of high-value financial advisory transactions, driving business growth, strengthening strategic client relationships, and providing leadership across the firm's advisory practice.
The role requires a seasoned investment banking professional with a strong track record in transaction execution, business development, and stakeholder management.
Responsibilities
Originate and execute financial advisory mandates across the public sector and other strategic sectors, ensuring successful delivery of complex transactions
Build and maintain strong relationships with government agencies, corporate clients, investors, and key stakeholders to drive business opportunities
Lead transaction execution including mergers & acquisitions, capital raising, project finance, privatizations, restructurings, and other advisory engagements
Drive business development initiatives to expand the firm's advisory portfolio, revenue base, and market presence
Provide strategic leadership, mentorship, and oversight to transaction teams while ensuring compliance with regulatory and governance requirements.
Requirements
Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, Accounting, or a related field; MBA or relevant postgraduate qualification is an advantage
Minimum of 10 years' experience in Financial Advisory, Investment Banking, Corporate Finance, or a related field, with significant experience leading complex transactions
Proven track record of originating and executing successful advisory mandates and managing high-value client relationships
Strong expertise in capital markets, corporate finance, financial modelling, company valuation, equity analysis, and transaction structuring
Excellent commercial acumen, leadership, negotiation, presentation, and stakeholder management skills, with an established network within the public and corporate sectors.
