    Exchange Centre Supervisor

    About the Role

    Konga is hiring an experienced Exchange Centre Supervisor to oversee daily operations at assigned Exchange Centres. The role is responsible for ensuring efficient shipment handling, inventory accuracy, timely deliveries, cash control, and strict adherence to operational and safety standards.

    Key Responsibilities

    Exchange Centre Operations

    • Supervise daily operations to ensure smooth receipt, processing, dispatch, and return of shipments
    • Ensure all shipments are accurately received and processed at the Exchange Centre
    • Monitor delivery timelines and ensure SLA compliance
    • Ensure non-delivered shipments are returned to the Exchange Centre within 4–5 delivery attempts
    • Escalate and resolve shipment-related issues within 72 hours

    Inventory & Returns Management

    • Oversee inventory control, scanning, and record keeping
    • Ensure accurate reconciliation of inbound, outbound, and returned shipments
    • Resolve inventory discrepancies and escalate unresolved issues
    • Supervise inventory officers and ensure compliance with inventory procedures

    Cash & Financial Control

    • Ensure daily cash collection and deposit into Konga’s designated accounts
    • Monitor cash reconciliation and follow up on cash variances
    • Ensure proper financial documentation and reporting

    Team Supervision

    • Supervise drivers, dispatch riders, and inventory officers
    • Assign daily tasks and monitor productivity
    • Resolve staff issues and escalate disciplinary matters when necessary

    Systems, Reporting & Compliance

    • Ensure accurate use of Mercury Track & Trace and other logistics systems
    • Monitor daily operational reports and performance metrics
    • Ensure compliance with Konga operational policies, safety, security, and housekeeping standards

    Customer Service

    • Support resolution of customer and merchant complaints related to Exchange Centre operations
    • Maintain high service quality and professionalism at all times

    • SLA Compliance
    • Delivery Performance
    • Inventory Accuracy
    • Zero Cash Variance
    • Service Quality

    Requirements

    Education

    • Bachelor’s Degree

    Experience

    • 2–4 years’ experience in logistics, warehouse, or operations supervision
    • Strong inventory and returns management experience
    • Cash handling and reconciliation experience

    Skills & Competencies

    • Knowledge of logistics and last-mile delivery operations
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and logistics systems
    • Strong organizational and problem-solving skills
    • Good communication and people management abilities
    • High attention to detail and safety consciousness
