Equity Sales Trader at LeadCapital PLC

• We are looking for a dynamic Equity Sales Trader to join our dealing team. The ideal candidate will execute equity and securities trades on the Nigerian Exchange (NGX), provide market insights, and build strong relationships with institutional investors, PFAs, and high-net-worth clients. Candidate must be results-driven, market-savvy, and passionate about the Nigerian capital market

Key Responsibilities

• Execute buy and sell orders in compliance with NGX and SEC Nigeria regulations.
• Provide clients with timely market updates, stock ideas, and trading opportunities.
• Manage relationships with institutional and high-net-worth clients.
• Monitor market trends, company results, and economic indicators.
• Work closely with the research, back-office, and compliance teams for smooth execution.
• Identify new business opportunities and contribute to the firm’s revenue growth.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, or related discipline.
• Minimum of 5 years’ experience in equity or sales trading within a stockbroking firm.
• SEC-registered and a sponsored individual (added advantage).
• Strong knowledge of NGX trading systems and the Nigerian capital market.
• Excellent analytical, communication, and relationship management skills.
• Professional certification (CIS or CFA) is an added advantage.
