Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for an Equity Sales Specialist, located in Abuja. The Equity Sales Specialist will be responsible for daily trading of equities and other financial instruments, generating new business through structured sales campaigns, and driving budget performance through active account management and initiative development. The Equity Sales Specialist will also provide strategic advice and product updates to clients, whilst keeping up-to-date with market trends and industry developments.

• We are looking to hire an experienced and qualified Stockbroker to Sell, trade and advise clients on investment opportunities within the Stock market.
• The Stockbroker’s responsibilities include Selling, trading, analysing the stock market, finding profitable investment opportunities, and advising clients in making sound investment decisions.
• The role requires an adequate understanding of the Nigerian Capital market, a good working relationship with NSE and SEC, and uncompromising Integrity.

Qualifications

• Expertise in Equity Sales, Equities, Sales, Trading, and Finance
• A BSc. / HND (Economics, Business management, Mathematics & statistics preferred)
• Professional qualification such as CFA, ICAN, ACCA, CIS and MBA would be an added advantage;
• At least 4 years experience as a front office Equity Sales person in a Top Investment Bank
• Proven track record of sales performance
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
• Experience in the Nigerian financial market is a plus
• Financial advisory and underwriting experience is a plus
