The Enterprise Architect – Applications & Integrations designs the integration architecture and strategy of the application landscape to ensure that all systems work together efficiently to support business processes.
You align IT strategy with business goals, ensure seamless application integration, and manage the application portfolio to optimize performance and reduce redundancy.
As Architect you evaluate existing applications, recommend retirements or upgrades, and ensure that the portfolio supports the strategic objectives of the enterprise.
Roles & Responsibilities
Collaborate with business stakeholders and IT teams to ensure our integration strategy, frameworks and solutions align with business goals.
Further drive the integration platform strategy and capabilities with a strong focus to reliability, self-service, reusability, scalability, and community engagement.
Evaluate and recommend integration technologies and tools to enhance business processes.
Conduct regular assessments of integration solutions to ensure compliance with standards and policies, and suggest improvements usage, solutions and processes.
Leverage Application Portfolio Management (APM) to optimize the application integration strategy and ensure effective use of resources.
Design and oversee the implementation of new application integration solutions. Actively go out and provide guidance and support to IT teams, ensuring successful implementations and usage of integration solutions and APM best practices.
Actively participate as Integration Architect in our global program increasing the Group’s eBusiness capabilities around customer EDI and e-Invoice.
Requirements
Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
Proven experience as an Enterprise Architect or in a similar role with a focus on application integration and/or application portfolio management.
Strong knowledge of integration architecture frameworks, patterns and tools such as Sync versus Async, EDA.
Experience with integration platforms (e.g., IBM Broker, Azure API, MuleSoft, Dell Boomi, Apache Camel, Apache Kafka, SAP BTP IS) with focus on SAP integrations.
Experience with Application Portfolio Management tools and methodologies.
Certification in Enterprise Architecture or integration technologies is a plus
