Role Overview

• We are seeking a passionate and dedicated English Teacher to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will inspire students, cultivate a love for literature and language, and foster an inclusive and interactive classroom environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and deliver engaging and effective English lessons that cater to different learning styles.
• Create an inclusive classroom atmosphere that promotes respect and encourages student participation.
• Assess, monitor, and report on student progress, providing constructive feedback and support.
• Collaborate with colleagues to enhance the curriculum and participate in school-wide initiatives.
• Engage with parents and guardians to support students’ educational journeys.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in English, Education, or a related field (PGDE or equivalent preferred).
• Proven experience teaching English at the secondary level (or relevant experience).
• IGCSE and TRCN certification 
• Proven track record in preparing students for IGCSE and WAEC examinations
• Strong communication skills and a passion for teaching.
• Ability to adapt teaching methods to suit the needs of diverse learners.
