The Ideal Candidate

• We are looking for someone who is not only an excellent English speaker but also an effective teacher who can engage students, track their progress and deliver measurable learning outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver engaging English language lessons to students across different proficiency levels.
• Prepare lesson plans, teaching materials and assessments.
• Conduct placement tests and student assessments.
• Monitor and document student progress.
• Submit lesson records and progress reports within stipulated timelines.
• Provide constructive feedback to students.
• Use digital teaching tools and online learning platforms effectively.
• Maintain Lextorah's academic and teaching standards.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in English, Education, Linguistics or a related field.
• 3+ years of relevant English teaching experience.
• Strong command of written and spoken English.
• Experience teaching students at different proficiency levels.
• Excellent communication and classroom management skills.
• Ability to use Zoom and other digital learning tools.
• Strong documentation and reporting skills.
• Professional, reliable and committed to student success.
• Experience with IELTS, TOEFL, SAT, GRE, GMAT, PTE, CELPIP or other English proficiency examinations will be an added advantage.
