English Language Teacher at LexTorah

Responsibilities

• Teach basic English skills including reading, writing, listening and speaking.
• Prepare students for the following exams: IELTS, TOEFL, SAT, OET, SELT, TOEFL, CELPIP, PTE, GRE & GMAT
• Compose lesson plans to successfully incorporate the full duration of each lesson.
• Execute lessons efficiently using different styles of teaching depending on the content.
• Engage students to ensure a lively classroom atmosphere.
• Instruct students about the structure and content of the English language.
• Emphasize the rules of composition, grammar and sentence construction.
• Maintain accurate class records, attendance and student progress reports.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in English and Education.
• Master's of Arts in English Education will be an added advantage.
• 5-6 years of experience in a teaching role.
• Must be a first-language English speaker.
• The ability to compile lesson plans efficiently.
• Familiarity with online teaching tools such as Zoom, Microsoft Teams, and Google Meets
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to explain concepts clearly and adapt teaching to different class modes i.e online or physical.
