Engineering Trainee at Funtay Global Resources Ltd

Funtay is an energy company providing solutions to the oil and gas/energy industry. We are seeking Engineering Trainee(s) to join our operations division in Lagos and other locations within Nigeria. 

REQUIREMENTS & INFO:

• Must have an HND, BSc or MSc degree in Engineering. Candidates without an engineering degree will not be considered for this position. 

• Please note that this is a trainee/new graduate role and best suited for those with less than 2 years experience. 

• Strong preference will be given to candidates with exposure to the oil/gas, marine, or project managment industry 

• Ideal candidate must be able to travel and work in various field sites in Nigeria

• Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment and operations intensive environment

• Must have the ability to perform basic engineering or math calculations

• Candidate should have very strong Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and research skills

Summary of the principal duties expected from the job.

• Graduate trainee(s) will be involved in one or more of the following: Petroleum Engineering, Project Management, Civil Engineering, Operations Engineering, Logistics, Marine Operations, Gas Operations, etc.
• Perform engineering and numerical calculations.
• Travel to various field sites in Nigeria to assist in operations.
• Research and compose technical proposals using Excel, PowerPoint, etc.
• Compose Daily, Weekly, and Monthly reports.
• Assist engineering, supply chain, finance, and/or admin departments
• Perform other duties as assigned by Management or Supervisors.
