Engineering Shift Executive at Perfetti Van Melle

What You Will Do

• Develop maintenance standards, schedules and programs and provide guidance to maintenance crews on implementation.
• Leads, guides, direct team members and support team growth. 
• Ensures process and packaging machines are available for production.
• Responsible for resolving issues during shifts and ensures equipment related issues are promptly resolved. 
• Ensuring planned Preventive Maintenance are executed timely, machines maintained are available and reliable for production use.
• Ensures all Preventive Maintenance  and Breakdown repairs are logged in CMMS MAXIMO.
• Measure machine performance, Investigate equipment failures to mitigate reoccurrence of identified failures
• Identify, discuss and propose solutions to recurring problems with key stakeholders.
• Responsibel for team discipline.

Our Perfect Candidate

• Holds minimum HND/BSc in Mechanical or Electrical/Electronics Engineering.
• Between 5 - 8 years post NYSC relevant work experience preferably from Food Manufacturing industry
• At least 3 year experience leading high performing team
• Experience in Good Manufacturing Practice.
• Excellent understanding of machine maintenance.
• Proven success in ensurign equipemt reliability.
• Passionate about continuous improvement
• Good understanding of HSE Rules.
• Committed to self developnet.
• COREN Membership will be an added advantage.
