Role Description

• This is a full-time, on-site Engineer role based in Lekki, Lagos.
• The Engineer will support the planning, design, and execution of residential real estate projects, working closely with project managers, architects, and construction teams.
• Day-to-day tasks include preparing and reviewing technical drawings and specifications, monitoring construction activities for compliance with design and safety standards, and performing site inspections and quality checks.
• The Engineer will assist in project scheduling, cost estimation, and materials planning, while coordinating with contractors and suppliers to ensure timely delivery and efficient use of resources. The role also involves documenting project progress, addressing technical issues on-site, and contributing to continuous improvement of engineering and construction processes.

Qualifications

• Strong foundation in civil/structural engineering principles and building construction methods.
• Proficiency in engineering and design tools (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit, or similar software).
• Experience with site supervision, quality control, and adherence to safety and regulatory standards.
• Ability to read and interpret architectural, structural, and MEP drawings.
• Effective project coordination skills, including basic scheduling, cost estimation, and reporting.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with attention to detail and accuracy.
• Clear written and verbal communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, or a related field; relevant professional certifications are an advantage.
• Prior experience in residential real estate or construction projects in Nigeria is a plus.
• Willingness to work on-site in Lekki and visit multiple project locations as required.
