    Electronic Engineer

    About the Role

    • We are seeking a versatile and visionary Electronics Engineer to lead the end-to-end design, integration, and validation of complex electronic systems and enclosures—specifically for solar-powered inverter and energy products. 
    • As Salpha expands its in-house manufacturing capabilities, this role is critical in ensuring product designs move from concept to production efficiently, cost-effectively, and at scale.
    • The ideal candidate has deep experience in PCB design, electronic system architecture, and cross-functional product integration, and is ready to take ownership of critical development initiatives. 
    • You’ll also lead the integration of plastic housings with electronic components, ensuring that every product is optimized for performance, safety, manufacturability, and scalability.
    • You’ll collaborate closely with our technical team to bring Salpha’s next-generation solar solutions to life delivering products that meet the highest standards of durability and quality.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Design and develop high-performance electronic systems for inverter and solar products, from concept to production.
    • Create PCB layouts using tools such as Altium Designer, Eagle PCB, and Cadence Allegro
    • Select components, analyze signal integrity, and ensure compliance with reliability standards.
    • Apply SMT and THT techniques across single-layer to multi-layer PCBarchitectures.
    • Ensure manufacturing readiness using Design for Manufacturability (DFM) and Design for Assembly (DFA) principles.
    • Lead schematic design, system integration, and prototyping.
    • Collaborate with mechanical, QA, and procurement teams to deliver on time and within budget.
    • Conduct system testing and validation to ensure product quality and reliability.
    • Document designs and lead technical reviews with stakeholders.

    Qualifications

    • Degree in Electrical / Electronics Engineering, or equivalent.
    • 3-5+ years in electronics hardware design, especially in inverter, energy, or power electronics.
    • Advanced knowledge of PCB design tools and best practices.
    • Proven experience with system-level integration and manufacturing-scale handover.
    • Exposure to field reliability testing (heat, drop, ingress protection).
    • Prior work with solar kits, IoT devices, or battery-powered products.
