Electro-Mechanical Technician (Water and Waste Water Engineering) at Devtek

About the Role:

The ideal candidates shall have a strong background and experience of integrating electrical and mechanical systems.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop, read, interpret, and modify blueprints and drawings, and make sketches of work to be performed.
• Conduct electrical installations, repairs, and maintenance of electrical systems and equipment.
• Troubleshoot and diagnose issues in electrical systems.
• Read schematics, and diagrams to determine the method and sequence of assembly of a part, system, or piece of equipment
• Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance to ensure system efficiency.
• Follow safety protocols and ensure compliance with industry standards.
• Collaborate with team members to complete projects on time and within budget.

Job Requirement:

• Minimum of an Ordinary National Diploma (OND) in Electrical Engineering Technology, Electro-mechanical Engineering or related field and Graduates from Technical Colleges.
• Must be between ages of 22 - 28
• Proven experience in electrical services.
• Strong technical knowledge, skills and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and schematics.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Commitment to safety and quality.
