Job Summary:

• We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Electricity Market Consultant to provide expert analysis and reporting on day-to-day activities within electricity market operations for an overseas country. The successful candidate will be responsible for tracking and evaluating market trends, managing key deliverables, and maintaining comprehensive documentation of meetings, milestones, settlements, and regulatory timelines.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare insightful reports on the country-specific electricity market operations for the client, including pricing, settlements, and regulatory updates.
• Maintain a detailed calendar of important meetings, deadlines, financial settlements, and key industry milestones.
• Conduct research and provide data-driven recommendations on market trends and regulatory changes within the specific country.
• Support stakeholder engagement efforts, ensuring effective communication with market participants and regulatory authorities.
• Ensure compliance with relevant market rules, industry best practices, and company policies.
• Provide strategic input for decision-making based on market analysis and forecasting.
• Keep accurate and confidential records of discussions, agreements, and operational insights.

Qualifications & Skills:

• Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering with a minimum 2:1 undergraduate qualification.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Excellent analytical skills with the ability to assess complex data and draw actionable conclusions.
• Strong research capabilities and ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
