Role Overview
- Prime University is seeking a skilled and dependable Electrician to handle installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems across the institution.
Key Responsibilities
- Install, maintain, and repair electrical wiring, equipment, and fixtures
- Diagnose faults and carry out effective repairs with minimal downtime
- Conduct routine inspections to ensure systems are safe and fully functional
- Ensure compliance with electrical codes, safety standards, and regulations
- Respond promptly to electrical issues and emergencies
- Support ongoing facility maintenance and improvement projects
Requirements
- Minimum of five (5) years’ practical experience as an electrician
- Relevant technical certification or training in electrical installation and maintenance
- Strong troubleshooting and fault-detection skills
- Ability to work independently and under pressure
- Good understanding of safety procedures and regulations.
