Electrician (Maintenance) at Proforce Limited

Job Summary

• We are seeking a skilled and proactive Maintenance Electrician to join our automobile manufacturing team.
• The successful candidate will be responsible for installing, inspecting, maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing electrical systems, equipment, and machinery to ensure uninterrupted production operations and compliance with safety standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on electrical systems, machinery, and manufacturing equipment.
• Diagnose and repair electrical faults in production machines, motors, control panels, transformers, generators, and related equipment.
• Install, test, and commission electrical equipment and systems.
• Monitor electrical systems to ensure optimal performance and minimize downtime.
• Read and interpret electrical drawings, schematics, and technical manuals.
• Conduct routine inspections and identify potential electrical issues before they lead to equipment failure.
• Maintain records of maintenance activities, repairs, and inspections.
• Ensure compliance with electrical safety regulations, company policies, and industry standards.
• Collaborate with production, engineering, and maintenance teams to resolve technical issues.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance equipment reliability and efficiency.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.

Qualifications and Requirements

• Minimum of OND, NABTEB, Trade Test Certificate, Technical College Certificate, or equivalent qualification in Electrical Engineering, Electrical Installation and Maintenance, Electromechanical Engineering, or a related field.
• 2–5 years of relevant experience in industrial electrical maintenance, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
• Strong knowledge of industrial electrical systems, motors, PLCs, control panels, and automation equipment.
• Ability to read and interpret electrical diagrams and technical drawings.
• Good troubleshooting and fault-finding skills.
• Familiarity with workplace safety standards and electrical regulations.
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
