Job Summary

• We are looking for a qualified Electrican whose job entails installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems and equipment in various settings, troubleshooting issues using blueprints and testing devices, and ensuring compliance with safety codes and standards.
• Your key responsibilities include installing wiring and fixtures, inspecting and diagnosing problems with electrical components, and performing preventive maintenance to ensure safe and effective operation of electrical systems in the factory.

Responsibilities

• Diagnosis and Troubleshooting: Identify and diagnose electrical problems, such as short circuits or power outages, and implement corrective actions to restore functionality.
• Testing and Inspection: Test electrical systems and components for functionality, safety, and compliance with regulations, using testing devices and equipment.
• Component Replacement: Repair or replace faulty electrical components, such as switches, outlets, circuit breakers, wiring, and other fixtures.
• Blueprint Interpretation: Read and interpret electrical blueprints, diagrams, and technical specifications to plan and execute electrical work accurately.
• Safety and Compliance: Ensure all work adheres to electrical codes, regulations, and safety standards to prevent accidents and hazards.
• Preventive Maintenance: Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance to keep electrical systems in good working order and prevent future problems.
• Installation and Maintenance: Install and maintain electrical systems, wiring, control, and lighting systems in residential, commercial, or industrial settings.

Essential Skills and Knowledge

• Interested candidates should possess an HND qualification with 2 - 5 years pratical working experience.
• Strong practical skills for using hand tools and electronic instruments.
• Ability to read and understand electrical diagrams and schematics.
• Good problem-solving and diagnostic skills.
• Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
• Attention to detail and the ability to follow safety protocols.
• Knowledge of electrical codes, regulations, and current technologies.
