Electrical Technician (Power Project) at Banodex Group

Job Brief:

We are seeking an experienced and reliable Electrical Technician to join our team for a large-scale power project involving transformers. This role will involve working on overseeing installation, maintenance, and repair of power transformers, as well as other electrical equipment within the power grid.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee the installation of power transformers and associated equipment
• Ensure routine inspections and testing of transformers.
• Monitor the functionality of BTS
• Prepare quotation for installation of transformer and connection to the national grid and repairs.
• Troubleshoot and diagnose electrical faults
• Operate and monitor power substation equipment, including transformers
• Maintain detailed records of work performed and equipment condition
• Ensure adherence to safety regulations and procedures
• Collaborate with other team members to achieve project goals.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor\'s Degree or HND in Electrical Engineering or related field
• Minimum of 3 years experience in electrical work and power projects
• Strong understanding of transformer operation and maintenance 
• Experienced in grid installation and project knowledge
• Knowledge of relevant safety regulations and standards
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Excellent problem solving and troubleshooting skills
