Electrical Installations: Electricians are proficient in installing electrical systems, including wiring, switches, lighting fixtures, circuit breakers, and other electrical components. They interpret Electrical Wiring diagram and technical specifications to ensure accurate and safe installations.
Maintenance and Repair: Electricians conduct routine inspections to identify electrical issues, such as faulty wiring, malfunctioning equipment, or outdated components. They perform repairs or replacements as needed to maintain the efficiency and safety of electrical systems.
Electrical Troubleshooting: When electrical problems occur, electricians use their knowledge and diagnostic tools to identify the root causes. They analyze circuits, test equipment, and use their expertise to troubleshoot and resolve electrical issues effectively.
Compliance and Safety: Electricians adhere to local, national, and industry-specific electrical codes and regulations to ensure the safety and compliance of electrical systems. They implement safety measures, such as grounding systems, circuit protection devices, and appropriate wiring techniques to prevent electrical hazards.
Upgrades and Modifications: Electricians may be involved in upgrading existing electrical systems to accommodate new technologies or higher power demands. They may also modify electrical systems to meet the specific needs of clients or to comply with changing regulations.
Communication and Collaboration: Electricians often collaborate with cross functional team members, such as Mechanical technicians, Engineers, Safety Managers, and vendors , Suppliers , workers , to ensure seamless integration of electrical systems with overall Plant Electrical system. They communicate with vendors/Regulator bodies, receive/ provide recommendations, and explain technical information in a clear and understandable manner.
Documentation: Electricians maintain accurate records of their work, including installation plans, maintenance schedules, repair logs, and any modifications made to electrical systems. This documentation is essential for future reference, compliance, and troubleshooting.
Safety Training: Electricians are knowledgeable about electrical safety practices and procedures. They are trained to handle electrical hazards, use personal protective equipment (PPE), and follow safety protocols to minimize the risk of accidents or injuries.
Qualifications
Candidates should possess an OND in Electrical & Electronics, preferable in HND with Higher Grade
Experience more than 2 - 3 Yrs. in any Process industry only.
Experience in Bottling Plant more than 2 Yrs. is added advantage/Highly recommended.
Work experience as Permanent Employee only – Not Contract/3rd party engagement.
Age not more than 45 Yrs.
Able to speak/Understand & Good Communication skill.
Key Competencies:
Preventive Maintenance skill on Electrical switch Gear Units like, PCC, MCC, Starters, etc.,
Knowledge in Utility Equipment’s like, Air Compressor, Boiler, Diesel generator, Water Treatment, ETP, Boreholes, Lighting etc. are mandatory.
Trouble shooting skill to minimize down time.
Data Capturing & Analyze performance of each section related to electrical.
Handling Shift Independently- Electrical system.
Fast Learner for change in developments in Organization
Work under pressure to meet target /deadlines.
