Electrical Technical Supervisor at Fify Technical Services Limited

We are looking for a skilled and experienced Electrical Supervisor to join our growing technical team. The successful candidate will be responsible for supervising electrical technicians, coordinating maintenance activities, troubleshooting electrical faults, and ensuring that all electrical works are completed safely and to the required standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise and coordinate the activities of electrical technicians and other technical personnel.
• Oversee the installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of electrical systems and equipment.
• Conduct preventive and corrective maintenance on electrical installations and equipment.
• Diagnose electrical faults and ensure timely corrective actions.
• Monitor the performance and productivity of technicians and provide technical guidance where required.
• Ensure all electrical works comply with safety standards, company procedures, and applicable regulations.
• Prepare and maintain maintenance reports, job cards, checklists, and other technical documentation.
• Coordinate daily work schedules and ensure timely completion of assigned tasks.
• Inspect completed electrical works to ensure quality and compliance with specifications.
• Ensure proper use, care, and maintenance of tools, equipment, and PPE.
• Liaise with clients, facility representatives, and other technical teams when required.
• Identify potential electrical hazards and take appropriate preventive measures.
• Respond promptly to electrical breakdowns and emergencies.

Requirements:

• OND/HND/B.Sc. in Electrical Engineering, Electrical/Electronics Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years’ relevant experience in electrical maintenance, preferably within Facility Management or a similar environment.
• Proven experience supervising or leading electrical technicians.
• Strong knowledge of electrical installations, maintenance, fault diagnosis, and troubleshooting.
• Good understanding of preventive and corrective maintenance practices.
• Knowledge of electrical safety standards and safe working practices.
• Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings and schematics.
• Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and effectively within a team.
• Ability to work under pressure and respond to emergency maintenance situations.
