Job Overview

• As an Electrical Technician, your perform a range of electrical tasks, including wiring, troubleshooting, and equipment maintenance.
• The role involves ensuring the safe and reliable operation of electrical systems and adhering to industry standards and regulations.

Key Responsibilities

• Must be willing to work after hours or weekends as and when required at the Factory to solve any relevant electrical issues in the factory and to keep the TM updated on the progress of resolving breakdowns.
• Supervise and check, monitor all electrical maintenance activities or breakdown repair activities and report back to the TM
• Generate database of all electrical motor/gearbox units, sensors used in the different sections of the factory in order to identify problem areas.
• Testing of electrical motors with a Megger during faultfinding process or when received back from the Rewinding company
• Able to do basic fault finding on WAGO panels
• Carry out Electrical preventive Maintenance and breakdown repairs on Beans Dumping conveyor, elevator and conveyor to the factory.
• Carry out Electrical preventive Maintenance and breakdown repairs on beans Silos Intake machinery, Bucket elevators, cleaning machine, De-stoner, conveyors, Ventilex, Winnowers, Beans breakers, Airlocks, screw conveyors and Fans
• Carry out electrical preventive Maintenance and breakdown repairs on Nibbs line to Scale 4, Grinders, Pump electric motors, Gearbox motors, SWECO Sieve, and pneumatic solenoid valves.
• Carry out electrical preventive Maintenance and breakdown repairs on Press 1 - 3, Hydraulic units, cake conveyor sensors and electrical motors, LCS pump electrical motors and stirrers
• Carry out electrical preventive Maintenance and breakdown repairs on Powder Packing Section, Fans, Blowers,
• Powder Mill electrical motors, Powder bagging machine panel and proxy sensors, Screw conveyors, Airlocks, solenoid valves, Belt conveyor motor, Material Hopper level sensors and dust pulsing unit.
• Carry out electrical preventive Maintenance and breakdown repairs on Chillers, sensors, fans and pump motors.
• Carry out electrical preventive Maintenance and breakdown repairs on Diesel and Shell boilers, Inlet fans, pumps, Blowers, screw conveyors, hydraulic unit and control panel.
• Carry out Electricalpreventive Maintenance and breakdown repairs on Cake Section, Blower, filter units, Airlock motors and dust pulsing unit.

Requirements

• Qualification: B.Sc / HND / M.SC in Electrical / Electronics
• Experience: 7 years and above
• Gender: Male preferably
• Age: Not more than 45 years
• Familiarity with electrical codes, regulations, and safety standards.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to read and interpret electrical blueprints, diagrams, and technical manuals.
• Proficiency in using electrical tools and equipment.
• Physical stamina and manual dexterity to perform tasks.
• Attention to detail and accuracy in performing electrical work.

Salary
N600,000 / month.
