Electrical Shift Supervisor at PG Consulting limited

Job Summary:

• We are currently looking to hire an experienced Electrical Shift Supervisor for one of our clients in Cashew production and export, who will be responsible for preparing work schedules and assigning tasks to the technical staff. Besides, you should be able to motivate your team members to perform diligently and professionally.

Key Responsibilities:

• Preparing and assigning work schedules
• Supervising and motivating team members
• Ensuring proper handling and maintenance of electrical equipment
• Maintaining safety standards and adhering to electrical codes
• Providing help in installing electrical equipment like panel boards, enclosures, or any other electrical systems
• Troubleshooting and repairing electrical issues/malfunctioning as and when required
• Reviewing work procedures and suggesting improvement measures
• Monitoring and handling inventory purchases
• Estimating and preparing budgets
• Documenting all inventory purchases
• Training, and evaluating the performances of new employees
• Coordinating with on-site personnel like electricians, contractors, and architects to ensure proper workflow
• Supervising on-site electrical operations and reporting any major issues to the senior management
• Coordinating with the on-site Electrical Engineer to review any design requirements
• Conducting labor and material estimates
• Inspecting and interpreting any remodeling projects
• Providing moral and technical support when needed

Requirements/Skills

• Degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field
• 3-7 years experience in a Food/Manufacturing plants
• Previous experience in Cashew processing industries is an added advantage
• Proven work experience in the Electrical department or any processing industries
• Familiarity with the electrical system, tools, and equipment like fuses and wires
• Basic computer skills
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Displaying leadership qualities
• An eye for detail and the ability to troubleshoot issues
• Knowledge of safety and industry standards
• Highly motivated
• Analytical and decision-making skills
• Possessing sound technical knowledge
• Ability to maintain a clean and safe working environment
• Ability to work collaboratively with other technical departments
• Ability to work at long hours and in extreme weather conditions
