Electrical Maintenance Technician I at Habrams Energy

• We are seeking a skilled and safety-conscious Electrical Maintenance Technician I to support field electrical maintenance activities, electrical isolation (LOTO), and preventive/breakdown maintenance for lighting, air-conditioning, and motor systems.

Key Responsibilities

• Verify and issue electrical work permits to contractors for lighting, air-conditioning, and motor maintenance activities.
• Supervise contractors and ensure strict compliance with safety requirements, immediately intervening where unsafe acts are observed.
• Participate in Job Safety Analysis (JSA) reviews with contractors.
• Execute scheduled maintenance activities and promptly escalate unresolved issues to the First Line Supervisor (FLS).
• Monitor contractors’ work quality to ensure compliance with Maintenance Procedures & Practices (MPP) and minimize rework.
• Provide daily progress updates to the FLS and maintenance planner.
• Obtain FLS approval before implementing any changes to approved work plans.
• Verify and accept completed maintenance work.

Requirements

• Previous experience in electrical maintenance or a closely related role, preferably within the Oil & Gas industry.
• Relevant technical/discipline certification or equivalent professional experience.
• Good understanding of electrical isolation and Lock Out/Tag Out (LOTO) procedures.
• Strong communication and field reporting skills.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team and collaborate with contractors and other stakeholders.
• Ability to work under tight deadlines, manage heavy workloads, and adapt to changing priorities.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
