We are seeking a highly accomplished Electrical & Instrumentation (E&I) Manager to provide strategic technical leadership and ensure the flawless execution of high-value projects. This senior role demands a proven leader who can drive engineering excellence, manage multidisciplinary teams, and uphold the highest standards of safety and quality across diverse and challenging project environments.
Key Responsibilities
Provide overarching strategic and technical leadership for all E&I projects from FEED to commissioning and close-out.
Manage and mentor a large team of engineers and technicians, fostering innovation, accountability, and professional growth.
Ensure all designs, specifications, and installations comply with international standards (IEC, IEEE, ATEX), client specifications, and stringent safety regulations.
Lead front-end engineering design reviews, risk assessments, and technical bid evaluations for major tenders.
Control project budgets exceeding $5M, implementing robust cost-control and variance analysis measures.
Serve as the primary technical authority and client interface for all E&I matters, ensuring clear communication and stakeholder alignment.
Spearhead the resolution of complex technical issues and lead incident investigations to implement preventive measures.
Drive the adoption of new technologies and digital solutions to enhance project efficiency and deliverables.
Qualifications & Experience
Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Instrumentation & Control, or a related field.
Minimum of 17 years of progressive experience in E&I management within the oil & gas EPCIC/EPC sector, with a demonstrable portfolio of managed projects.
Extensive hands-on experience in both offshore and onshore project environments is mandatory.
Professional certification (COREN, NSE) is required; PMP or similar project management certification is a strong advantage.
Expert-level proficiency with industry-standard design and analysis software (e.g., ETAP, AutoCAD Electrical, SPI, PDMS).
Proven track record in managing full project lifecycles, from proposal and estimation to execution, commissioning, and final handover.
Exceptional leadership, commercial acumen, and stakeholder management skills.
