Electrical Engineer at Sunbeth Global Concepts (SGC)

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Electrical Engineer to join our nail factory plant team at Homeport Limited, a subsidiary of Sunbeth Global Concepts. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and improving all electrical systems to ensure seamless production operations and minimal downtime.

Job Details

• Design and implementation of power systems from incoming power supply to internal distribution networks.
• Load distribution analysis and balancing for connecting various electrical motors.
• Interpretation and application of electrical control panel circuit diagrams as provided by machine suppliers.
• Installation and commissioning of new machinery in line with supplier drawings and specifications.
• In-depth knowledge of variable speed drives (VSDs) used in industrial machinery.
• Strong understanding of electronic circuits and components used in equipment.
• Troubleshooting of electrical issues and implementing corrective actions 
• Spare parts planning and management to ensure uninterrupted machine operations.
• Preventive maintenance practices to ensure high uptime.
• Working knowledge of step-down transformers (OLTC), ACBs, overload relays, and tripping systems.
• Familiarity with EOT crane installations and maintenance.

Requirements

• Educational Qualification: B.Eng. or HND in Electrical Engineering 
• Work Experience: 8 to 10 years of relevant experience 
• Industry Background:Preferably from metal processing or any process manufacturing plant
