Job Description

• Designing, maintaining, implementing, or improving electrical instruments, or systems for industrial, commercial, or domestic purposes
• Test or evaluate photovoltaic (PV) cells or modules
• Review specifications and recommend engineering or manufacturing changes to achieve solar design objectives
• Perform thermal, stress, or cost reduction analyses for solar systems.
• Develop standard operation procedures and quality or safety standards for solar installation work
• Performing a wide range of engineering tasks by operating computer-assisted design or engineering software and equipment
• Good communication skills with customers, engineers, and others to discuss existing or potential engineering products or projects
• Ensuring that installation and operations conforms to standards and customer requirements by preparing electrical systems specifications.
• Establishing construction, manufacturing or installation standards or specifications by performing a wide range of detailed calculations
• Writing reports and compiling data regarding existing and potential electrical engineering projects and studies
• Estimating material, labor, or construction costs for budget preparation
• Maintaining electrical equipment.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in electrical Engineer, from an accredited school
• Ability to cooperate and communicate with others, especially those without a technical background
• Minimum of 4 years working experience
