Job Summary

Apple and Pears Limited, a manufacturing company, is seeking a skilled and proactive Electrical & Electronics Engineer to manage, maintain, and optimize electrical and electronic systems within our food manufacturing facility. The successful candidate will ensure reliable operation of production and packaging equipment while minimizing downtime through effective troubleshooting and preventive maintenance.

Job Description / Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, and troubleshoot electrical and electronic systems on production and packaging machinery
• Diagnose and repair faults on control panels, motors, sensors, drives, PLCs, and automation systems
• Develop and implement preventive maintenance plans for electrical and electronic equipment
• Support installation, commissioning, and modification of production machines
• Ensure compliance with electrical safety standards and company SOPs
• Maintain accurate maintenance records, reports, and documentation
• Collaborate with mechanical and production teams to improve equipment efficiency
• Supervise and provide technical guidance to technicians when required

Qualifications & Requirements

• Minimum of HND/BSc in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, or a related discipline
• Minimum of 3–5 years’ experience in an Electrical & Electronics Engineer role within the FMCG or food manufacturing industry
• Strong knowledge of industrial electrical systems, automation, and control
• Hands-on experience with PLCs, VFDs, sensors, and industrial instrumentation
• Excellent troubleshooting and analytical skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
• Good communication, leadership, and documentation skills
