The Electrical Engineer will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining electrical control systems, equipment, and machinery.
The ideal candidate will have experience in industrial or commercial electrical engineering, with a strong focus on safety and compliance with regulatory standards.
Responsibilities:
Design and develop electrical systems, including schematics, diagrams, and layouts.
Manage and oversee the installation, operation, and maintenance of electrical systems, equipment, and machinery.
Develop and implement safety procedures and regulatory compliance measures.
Troubleshoot and diagnose electrical issues and develop solutions to prevent future problems.
Manage and maintain documentation related to electrical systems and equipment, including specifications, operating manuals, and maintenance records.
Develop and manage project budgets, timelines, and resources.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineering, operations, and maintenance, to ensure project success.
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering or a related field
Minimum of 5 years’ experience in electrical engineering, with a focus on industrial or commercial applications
Strong knowledge of electrical systems and equipment, including power distribution, controls, motors, and instrumentation
Familiarity with relevant industry standards and regulations, including NFPA, NEC, OSHA, and EPA
Proficiency in electrical engineering software and tools, such as AutoCAD, ETAP, and MATLAB
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
Strong project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
