Ecommerce Manager at Colala Logistics Nigeria Limited

Role Overview:

• We are seeking a results-driven and experienced eCommerce Manager to oversee the operations, marketing, and growth of our new online marketplace. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the day-to-day management of our eCommerce website, vendor onboarding, digital marketing, customer acquisition, and online/offline sales optimization. This is a startup role for someone who enjoys building from scratch.

Duties of the Manager

• Support App Development & Testing - Work closely with developers to test the app features and report bugs o Ensure a smooth buyer and seller experience during the development phase
• Vendor Onboarding - Identify and onboard reliable sellers to the platform - Prepare onboarding materials and set up vendor support processes
• Operations Setup - Plan order fulfillment, returns, delivery, and payment processes - Coordinate with logistics and payment partners
• Customer Experience Planning - Set up basic customer service structures - Draft response templates, complaint processes, and support tools
• Business Strategy & Growth - Help develop go-to-market strategy for launch - Monitor competitors and suggest improvements or new features

Documentation & Reporting -

• Keep records of activities, challenges, and progress -
• Provide weekly reports to management

Qualifications and Experience:

• Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, IT, or related field.
• 3+ years experience in eCommerce management or online marketplace.
• Strong understanding of eCommerce trends, SEO, Google Analytics, and ads.
• Experience with platforms like Shopify, WooCommerce, or custom systems.
• Strong leadership and vendor management skills.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.
