Drone Specialist (Drone Pilot and Technician) at Proforce Limited

Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Drone Specialist to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess a unique blend of piloting expertise and technical knowledge, ensuring not only the safe operation of drones but also their maintenance and repair. As a Drone Specialist at ProForce AirSystems, you will play a critical role in delivering exceptional aerial services while ensuring the reliability and functionality of our drone fleet.

Key Responsibilities:

Drone Operations:

• Pilot drones for various projects, including aerial photography, mapping, surveying, and inspections.
• Ensure compliance with all  regulations and company policies regarding drone operations.
• Conduct pre-flight checks, monitor weather conditions, and assess flight risks to ensure safe flying practices.

Maintenance and Repair:

• Perform routine inspections, troubleshooting, and maintenance of drones to ensure optimal performance.
• Diagnose and repair mechanical and electronic issues in drones, including motors, cameras, batteries, and sensors.
• Implement upgrades to hardware and software as needed to enhance drone capabilities.

Documentation and Reporting:

• Maintain accurate records of flight logs, maintenance activities, and repairs performed on each drone.
• Prepare project reports, including findings and data analysis, and present them to clients and stakeholders.

Collaboration and Training:

• Collaborate with team members and clients to understand project requirements and deliver tailored aerial solutions.
• Assist in training new pilots and technicians on drone operation, safety protocols, and maintenance procedures.

Qualifications:

• minimum of technical education  or bachelor\'s degree in a related field (aviation, engineering, technology) is preferred.
• Proven experience in flying drones, with a strong understanding of flight paths, regulations, and safe operating procedures.
• Familiarity with drone repair and servicing, including knowledge of various drone models and platforms (e.g., DJI,
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail in identifying and addressing technical issues.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, to effectively collaborate with team members and clients.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
