We are seeking a reliable and experienced Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting goods and/or passengers in a safe, timely, and efficient manner. The Driver will adhere to all traffic laws and company policies while maintaining a professional and courteous demeanor at all times. Strong communication skills.

Responsibilities:

• Maintain a clean and well-organized vehicle.
• Provide excellent customer service to passengers, clients, and colleagues.
• Perform routine vehicle inspections and maintenance tasks.
• Report any vehicle issues or incidents to management promptly.
• Keep accurate records of mileage, fuel consumption, and expenses.
• Follow delivery schedules and routes efficiently.
• Ensure the safety and comfort of passengers at all times.
• Adhere to all traffic laws and company policies while on the road.
• Safely operate company vehicles to transport goods and/or passengers to designated locations.

Requirements:

• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
• Preferably between 25 and 45 years old.
• Residing in Calabar Municipality or Calabar South is preferred.
• Willingness to drive to various local governments within Cross River State.
• Familiarity with the routes within Calabar and surrounding areas is essential.
• Proven experience as a Driver or similar role.
• Excellent driving skills and knowledge of local traffic laws and regulations.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Attention to detail and a focus on safety.
• Flexibility to work irregular hours and weekends if needed.
• High school diploma or equivalent.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Previous experience in a similar industry (e.g., transportation, logistics, delivery).
• Knowledge of basic vehicle maintenance procedures.
