Job Description

• Pullus Africa is seeking a reliable, safety conscious and proactive Driver to join our team.
• This role goes beyond transportation, the successful candidate will also provide support to our procurement function, ensuring the smooth and timely delivery of goods, equipment and supplies critical to our operations.

Responsibilities

• Safely transport company staff, goods and equipment to designated locations.
• Strictly comply with traffic laws, road safety regulations and company policies.
• Maintain the vehicle’s cleanliness, functionality and roadworthiness at all times.
• Conduct routine checks on vehicles (oil, water, brakes, tires, fuel, etc.).
• Ensure timely pickup, delivery and drop-off schedules are met.
• Assist with loading and unloading of goods or equipment when required.
• Support procurement activities by purchasing approved items, ensuring quality and obtaining receipts/invoices.
• Deliver purchased goods to the office or designated location promptly.
• Maintain accurate trip logs, mileage and any expenses.
• Report any accidents, incidents, or mechanical issues immediately.
• Maintain professionalism, confidentiality, and integrity in all activities.

Requirements

• A valid driver’s license.
• Minimum of 2–5 years’ professional driving experience.
• Clean driving record with no major traffic violations.
• Good knowledge of local routes and road safety regulations.
• Strong knowledge of defensive driving, situational awareness and basic emergency procedures.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Basic understanding of procurement/purchasing processes.
• Physically fit with good eyesight.
• High level of integrity, accountability and reliability.
• Resides in Kaduna.
