Key Responsibilities

• Operate vehicles safely and in compliance with traffic laws and company policies.
• Pick up and deliver passengers, packages, or goods on assigned routes.
• Conduct routine vehicle inspections and report any maintenance or repair needs.
• Ensure timely arrival and departure while optimizing routes for efficiency.
• Maintain cleanliness and upkeep of the vehicle.
• Assist passengers with boarding and unloading, if applicable.
• Keep accurate records of trips, mileage, and fuel consumption.
• Respond promptly and professionally to any unexpected situations or emergencies.

Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license appropriate for the vehicle type.
• Proven experience as a professional driver preferred.

Preferred Skills:

• Defensive driving skills and a clean driving record.
• Familiarity with GPS and route planning software.
• Basic vehicle maintenance knowledge.
• Good knowledge of local routes, traffic patterns, and safety regulations.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays if required.
• Physically fit to perform job duties (e.g., loading/unloading goods).
