Job Summary

• The Driver will be responsible for the safe and timely transportation of staff, management, and company property across Abuja and, where required, other locations.
• The ideal candidate must have excellent, first-hand knowledge of Abuja's roads, districts, and routes, and must be able to navigate the city confidently without relying on GPS or third-party guidance.

Key Responsibilities

• Drive company vehicles safely and responsibly for official assignments and staff movement.
• Navigate all routes within Abuja (and environs) accurately and efficiently without needing directions or navigation apps.
• Maintain the assigned vehicle in clean, roadworthy condition at all times.
• Conduct routine checks on the vehicle (fuel, oil, tyres, lights, etc.) and report faults promptly.
• Ensure strict compliance with traffic laws and company driving policies.
• Maintain accurate records of trips, mileage, and fuel usage.
• Ensure the safety and security of passengers and any goods being transported.
• Assist with errands, deliveries, and dispatch of documents/items as required.
• Report any accidents, mechanical issues, or delays promptly to supervisors.
• Perform any other duties assigned by supervisors or management.

Requirements

• Minimum of an SSCE/OND or equivalent qualification.
• Valid Nigerian driver's license (mandatory).
• Must have excellent and accurate knowledge of Abuja roads, districts, and routes without guidance (mandatory).
• Minimum of 3 years' proven driving experience.
• Clean driving record with no history of accidents due to negligence.
• Good knowledge of basic vehicle maintenance.
• Physically fit, alert, and punctual.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Honesty, discipline, and a strong sense of responsibility.
