Job Summary

• We are seeking a reliable and responsible Driver to join our team in Port Harcourt. The successful candidate will be responsible for transporting goods, staff, and equipment safely and efficiently, ensuring high standards of customer service and vehicle maintenance.

Key Responsibilities
Transportation Duties:

• Safely drive company vehicles to various locations as directed.
• Pick up and drop off employees, clients, and materials as needed.
• Ensure timely transportation while adhering to traffic laws and company policies.

Vehicle Maintenance:

• Conduct regular vehicle inspections and maintenance, ensuring the vehicle is in safe and operational condition.
• Report any issues with vehicles promptly to the Fleet Manager.

Documentation:

• Maintain accurate records of trips, mileage, and fuel consumption.
• Complete and submit daily logs and other required documentation.

Customer Service:

• Provide excellent customer service while interacting with clients and team members.
• Ensure that vehicles are clean and presentable at all times.

Safety Compliance:

• Adhere to all safety regulations and company policies to maintain a safe working environment.
• Participate in safety training and meetings as required.

Qualifications
Education:

• Minimum of secondary school education (O’Level or equivalent).

Experience:

• Previous driving experience (2 years preferred) in a corporate or logistics environment.

Licensing:

• Valid driver’s license (Class F or equivalent) with a clean driving record.

Skills:

• Strong knowledge of local roads and traffic regulations in Port Harcourt.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong time management and organizational skills.

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to sit for extended periods while driving.
• Must be able to lift up to 25kg if required.

Additional Information:

• Flexibility to work overtime or on weekends as needed.
• Knowledge of basic vehicle maintenance is a plus.
