    DriveCam/Vehicle Safety Coordinator

    Summary:

    The U.S. Consulate General in Lagos, Nigeria is seeking eligible and qualified applicants for the Drive-Cam/Vehicle Safety Coordinator position in the General Service Office. The U.S. Mission in Nigeria supports Diversity, Equity, Inclusion and Accessibility (DEIA).     Duties

    Incumbent will be responsible for a full range of program management duties relating to Vehicle Safety and the Mission's DriveCam program. Incumbent will report to Motor pool Supervisor and assist in managing vehicle safety and entire DriveCam program under Chief of Mission authority. Assist to train staff in vehicle safety and monitors DriveCam web site dashboards and perform administrative functions to keep the database current. Monitors metrics and makes recommendations in areas of driver safety, driver improvement, coaching, awards, and discipline. Coordinates with OBO/SHEM for safety issues.

    Education Requirements: Completion of Secondary School is required.  

    Experience: Minimum of one (1) year of experience in administrative tasks and two (2) years of professional driving experience is required.

    Job Knowledge:

    • Job holder must have a thorough knowledge of web-based databases and internet applications. Knowledge of host country traffic laws, and regulations. Understand and comply with all transportation and traffic laws.

    Skills And Abilities:

    The following skills and abilities are required:

    • Must have thorough knowledge of Excel spreadsheets, PowerPoint, and Microsoft Word.
    • Must be able to analyze and interpret graphs and prepare graphs in Excel.
    • Must have a valid Nigeria driver's license for a passenger motor vehicle, SUV or sedan.
    • Must have had a valid Nigeria driver's license for a minimum of five years. 
    • Good communication and organization skills.
