Drilling Engineering Team Lead at Willers Solutions

Our client; a reputable Oil & Gas Company is looking to fill the role of DRILLING ENGINEERING TEAM LEAD

Job knowledge/Experience

Experience with Drilling data reporting and Cost Management applications- Open wells, Data analyzer, profile, wellCost, OpenWorks, RealTime Operation Centre, Insight Anywhere, MS Excel Pivot table.

Skills

• Formulating strategies and concepts and management of activities, assets and projects
• Manage Execution, interfaces and project delivery against time and budget
• Manage contract execution
• Motivate and coach staff
• Develop Well design options and prepare program
• Well-developed written and oral communication skills
• Excellent interpersonal skills
• Prepare drilling, completion and cementing program
• Design Well trajectory and drill string
• Define well control criteria
• Project management
• Execute Well Engineering construction workover and abandonment operations

Requirements

• B.Sc. / B. Eng. / B.Tech  in an Engineering or Science discipline
• Min 15 years in E&P environment with substantial experience in drilling, completions and workovers including field-based experience as well as proven leadership experience to provide guidance and support Well Engineering team to achieve their targets.
• Well Engineering certifications (e.g. IWCF Certification)
