Django Backend Developer at Waje Smart Solutions Limited

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain robust and scalable backend applications using Django and Django Rest Framework (DRF).
• Deploy applications to production servers and ensure their smooth operation.
• Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code following best practices.
• Create and maintain documentation for code, APIs, and systems.
• Write and execute unit tests to ensure code reliability and quality.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand project requirements and deliver high-quality software solutions.
• Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to team members.
• Stay updated with the latest trends and technologies in backend development.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field.
• Proven experience as a Django backend developer with expertise in DRF.
• Strong knowledge of Python programming language.
• Experience with database design and management.
• Familiarity with server deployment and cloud platforms.
• Ability to write clean, well-documented code.
• Proficiency in writing unit tests.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

Additional Skills (Preferred):

• Experience with frontend technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript).
• Knowledge of containerization and orchestration tools (Docker, Kubernetes).
