Dispatch Riders / Driver at Lance Trend

Job Summary

The Driver/Dispatch Rider is responsible for transporting goods, documents, and sometimes passengers safely and efficiently. They ensure timely deliveries, maintain vehicles/motorcycles in good condition, and uphold company standards of professionalism and customer service.

Transportation & Delivery

• Safely drive company vehicles or motorcycles to deliver packages, documents, or goods.
• Ensure timely pickup and drop-off of items to clients, offices, or designated locations.
• Verify delivery details and obtain necessary signatures or proof of delivery.

Vehicle/Motorcycle Maintenance

• Conduct routine checks on vehicles/motorcycles (fuel, oil, brakes, tires).
• Report mechanical issues promptly and schedule servicing when required.
• Keep vehicles/motorcycles clean and roadworthy.

Documentation & Compliance

• Maintain accurate delivery logs and records.
• Ensure compliance with traffic laws and safety regulations.
• Handle cash or receipts responsibly when required.

Customer Service

• Interact politely and professionally with clients during deliveries.
• Provide updates on delivery status when necessary.
• Represent the company positively in all interactions.

Skills & Qualifications

• Education: Minimum of high school certificate.
• Licensing: Valid driver’s license or rider’s permit (depending on role).
• Experience: Previous experience as a driver or dispatch rider preferred.

Skills:

• Good knowledge of local routes and traffic regulations.
• Strong time management and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently and handle pressure.
• Basic technical  knowledge is an advantage.
