Dispatch Rider at G4S

Locations: Mainland and Island - Lagos

Responsibilities

• To drive company's motorcycle for routine and non-routine tasks as directed by G4S Nigeria management
• Drive within the speed limit; within the capabilities of the motorcycle; with due regard for the rules of the road and with consideration to other road users.
• Report on a daily basis on all matters relating to assigned motorcycles to the supervisor/ Manager
• Must ensure that assigned motorcycle documents/ particulars are updated and valid.
• Must ensure that the motorcycle is cleaned routinely or when the need arises.
• Responsible for carrying out the daily inspection of the general condition of the assigned motorcycle.
• Must properly lock motorcycle when there is a need to leave them unattended to.
• Responsible for internal and external items distribution.
• Record information, such as items received and delivered.
• Sign for the package upon collection and get an appropriate person to sign for it upon delivery
• Plan and follow the most efficient routes for making deliveries.
• Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications / Requirements

• Are you a vibrant young man?
• Educated with a minimum of GCE, WAEC, SSCE, NECO, O' Level, OND or HND level of education with 2 years work experience.
• Having a rider’s permit is an added advantage
• Living Around Oworonshoki, Ifako, Bariga, Gbagada, Oshodi, Mafoluku, Dopemu, Ilupeju, Surulere, Ikeja, Ojota, Ketu, Mushin, Mile 12, Alapere, Orile Iganmu, Ojuelegba, Yaba, Obalende,Ikoyi, V/I, Falomo, Lekki and nearby environs
• Age should be minimum of 25 years old and maximum of 40 years old

Person Specification:

• Must be able to ride a motorcycle effectively and professionally
• Must have excellent road navigation knowledge
• Be hardworking, Diligent and possess Positive Energy
• Must be physically fit, reliable and punctual
• Ability to meet targets and deliver timely.
• Excellent Communicator; Attention to details
• Time management; Decision-Making Skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• To be able to work flexibly including some evenings and weekends when required.
