Job Summary

• A Dispatch Rider is responsible for delivering packages, documents, and other items promptly to specified locations using a motorcycle. 
• They ensure safe and efficient transportation while maintaining professionalism and good customer service.

Key Responsibilities

• Pick up and deliver parcels, documents, and goods to assigned destinations.
• Plan and follow the most efficient routes for timely delivery.
• Ensure packages are handled with care and delivered in good condition.
• Keep accurate records of deliveries, including recipient details and time of delivery.
• Obtain signatures and necessary confirmations for delivered goods.
• Maintain the motorcycle in good working condition by scheduling regular servicing and reporting any faults.
• Adhere to all traffic laws and company regulations regarding motorcycle use.
• Maintain good communication with the dispatch team and report any delivery challenges or delays.
• Ensure the security and confidentiality of sensitive documents during transit.
• Collect payments when required and submit them to the appropriate department.

Requirements & Qualifications

• Minimum of SSCE (Senior Secondary Certificate Examination) or equivalent.
• A valid motorcycle rider’s permit/license.
• Prior experience as a dispatch rider is an advantage.
• Good knowledge of road networks and traffic regulations.
• Ability to use GPS and mobile devices for navigation.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Physically fit and able to ride for extended periods.
• Trustworthy, responsible, and punctual.
• Must own an android phone.

Work Environment:

• Mostly outdoors, riding in various weather conditions.
• May involve handling fragile or confidential documents.
• Often required to work under time constraints.
