Director, Works and Services at Niger Delta University

Job Description

• The Director, Works and Services shall be responsible to the Vice-Chancellor for the day-to-day administration and coordination of the University Works and Services Department.

Qualifications of the Job
Specifically, the candidate is expected to:

• Have a good honours Degree from a recognised University in the relevant disciplines (Engineering, Architecture, Building and Quantity Surveying) with a minimum of fifteen (15) years post-qualification experience, preferably in a University or in a comparable Institution;
• Must be registered with the relevant Professional Councils/Board;
• Provide a verifiable track record of integrity, competence, responsiveness, ability to work in a team and function with minimum supervision;
• Not be more than Sixty (60) years of age on assumption of duty;
• Must be knowledgeable in Information and Communication Technology (ICT);
• Must be someone who is not under financial or criminal investigation; and enjoys excellent physical and mental health.
