Role Overview

• Our client is seeking to engage an experienced and strategic Director of Procurement to lead and transform its procurement and supply chain operations across multiple business units.
• The ideal candidate will provide strategic leadership in procurement planning, vendor's management, contract negotiation, cost optimization, and supply chain governance, ensuring efficiency, transparency, and value creation across the Group’s operations.
• This role requires a highly experienced procurement professional with strong commercial acumen, leadership capacity, and deep understanding of procurement best practices within complex organizational environments.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement a Group-wide procurement strategy aligned with the company’s growth objectives.
• Lead the planning, sourcing, negotiation, and procurement processes for goods and services across the Group.
• Establish and enforce procurement policies, systems, and compliance frameworks.
• Build and maintain strong vendor and supplier relationships to ensure quality, reliability, and cost efficiency.
• Oversee contract negotiation, supplier performance evaluation, and procurement risk management.
• Drive cost reduction initiatives and value-for-money procurement practices.
• Provide leadership to the procurement and supply chain teams across the organization.
• ensure procurement activities comply with corporate governance standards and regulatory requirements.
• Develop procurement performance metrics and prepare strategic reports for executive management and the Board.
• Support business units in forecasting, budgeting, and strategic sourcing decisions.

Requirements

• Bachelors degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Economics, or related field.
• A Master’s degree or MBA will be an added advantage.
• Relevant professional certification is strongly desired.
• 12–15 years progressive procurement experience, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role.
• Proven experience managing procurement operations for a group of companies or large-scale organization.
• Strong knowledge of strategic sourcing, supplier negotiation, and procurement governance frameworks.
• Excellent leadership, negotiation, analytical, and decision-making skills.
• High level of integrity, professionalism, and strategic thinking.
