Director of Audit

Responsibilities
Specifically, the candidate is expected to:
- Oversee/coordinate the Internal Audit Department; and be responsible to the Vice-Chancellor.
Qualifications
- Candidates must possess a B.Sc. degree in Accounting with minimum of Second Class Lower plus Masters' degree in the relevant discipline and any of the following: ICAN/ANAN, ACCA, CIPFA, ICMA, ICPA with at least 24 years post qualification cognate experience in a higher institution of learning.
- The candidate must have spent five years as an Assistant Director of Audit.
- Possession of a higher degree and membership of recognized professional bodies are compulsory.
Grade
CONTISS 15.

- Conditions of service will be as they apply in the University Scheme of Service for the Internal Auditor Cadre.
