Director, Health Services at Niger Delta University

Job Description

• The Director, Health Services shall be responsible to the Vice Chancellor for the day-to-day administration and coordination of the University Health Services.

Qualifications for the Job
Specifically, the candidate is expected to:

• Have a MBBS Degree from a recognised University with a minimum of fifteen (15) years post-qualification experience in Clinical Medicine and Public Health Work, preferably in a University Health Centre or in a comparable Health Institution; Or
• Have a MBBS Degree, Diploma in a Medical related discipline plus Fellowship Part-One with Nine (9) years cognate post-diploma experience; Or
• Have a MBBS Degree, Master's Degree in a medical-related discipline, plus Fellowship Part-One with six (6) years cognate post Master's experience; Or
• Be a Specialist/Consultant with Six (6) years post Specialist Qualification Experience;
• Must be registered with the Medical and Dental Council of Nigeria; 
• Provide a verifiable track record of integrity, competence, responsiveness, ability to work in a team and function with minimum supervision;
• Not be more than Sixty (60) years of age on assumption of duty; VIII. must be knowledgeable in Information and Communication Technology (ICT);
• Must be someone who is not under financial or criminal investigation; and
• Enjoys excellent physical and mental health.

Conditions of Service and Salary
Appointment shall be on such terms and conditions as are specified in the Letter of Appointment and Salaries, Allowances and Fringe Benefits are as currently obtainable in Federal and State Universities.
