    Direct Sales Representative

    ABOUT THE ROLE:

    • The HelloMe team is built of like-minded individuals on a mission to demystify digital banking services. We are committed to hiring industry experts and those with a passion for customer-driven results. We are in search of skilled and results-driven Direct Sales Marketers to join our vibrant team. The idea candidate will be responsible for developing and executing strategies to drive sales, build relationships, and meet revenue targets. Your primary focus will be direct client acquisition and interaction to increase product utilization and deliver sales, and expanding our customer base through direct sales efforts.

    RESPONSIBILITIES:

    • Have a good understanding of the company’s products and services, to ensure detailed presentation of company’s product features and benefits to both existing and new customers.
    • Identify and target potential customers through market research, networking, and outreach activities. 
    • Generate and qualify leads to build a robust sales pipeline. 
    • Conduct compelling and informative product/service presentations to potential clients. 
    • Customize sales pitches to address the unique needs and requirements of individual customers. 
    • Establish and nurture strong relationships with clients through effective communication and follow-up, and customer satisfaction.
    • Provide exceptional customer service to enhance customer satisfaction and loyalty.
    • Negotiate terms and conditions, pricing, and contractual agreements to close deals. 
    • Address customer concerns and objections in a professional and persuasive manner. 
    • Stay informed on latest industry technologies and trends, competitor activities to identify opportunities, threats and monitor current market trends to maximize sales. 
    • Maintain timely submission and accurate up-to-date of weekly/monthly records of sales activities, customer interactions, and deals in the CRM system. 
    • Prepare regular reports on sales performance and contribute to sales forecasting. 
    • Work closely with cross-functional teams, including marketing and product development, to align sales strategies with overall business objectives.
    • Meet and exceed weekly, monthly and annual sales targets and quotas, contributing to the overall success of the sales team and the organization. 
    • Monitor and ensure timely response to all customer inquiries, complaints and feedback.
    • Participate in weekly/monthly sales performance review meetings.
    • Ensure strict compliance with internal sales objectives guidelines and external regulations.

    REQUIREMENTS AND SKILLS:

    • OND/HND in Business Administration, Marketing, Finance, or a related field. 
    • Minimum 3 years’ demonstrable years of proven experience in direct sales marketing experience in a banking, with a track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets. 
    • Excellent communication, negotiation, persuasion and interpersonal skills. 
    • Strong understanding of the sales process and customer relationship management. 
    • Results-oriented with a focus on delivering exceptional customer value. 
    • Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
    • Creative skill with a result-driven mindset for contributing new and innovative ideas.
    • Attention to details, ability to work independently, collaboratively, manage time effectively and meet sales target in a result-oriented industry.
    • Good knowledge and understanding of bank operations, products and regulations, the principles of marketing, brand management, and sales, industry trends and best practices.
    • Knowledge of customer acquisition and retention strategies.
    • An effective team player with strong work ethics and a positive attitude.
    • Have good analytical and numerical skills.
    • Proficiency with CRM software and sales analytics tools. 
    • Excellent customer service skills and professional network. 
    • Previous experience working in a fintech company is a plus.
