    Job Description

    • Customer Acquisition: Actively engage in prospecting activities to identify individuals or businesses interested in opening new accounts with the bank. Utilize various channels such as cold calling, referrals, networking, and community events to generate leads and attract potential customers.
    • Account Opening Process: Guide customers through the account opening process, explaining the different types of accounts available (e.g., savings accounts, checking accounts, deposit accounts) and helping them select the most suitable option based on their needs and preferences.
    • Documentation and Paperwork: Assist customers in completing the necessary documentation and paperwork required to open a new account. Ensure that all required forms are accurately filled out and that customers provide the necessary identification and supporting documents as per regulatory requirements.
    • Compliance and Regulatory Adherence: Ensure compliance with all applicable laws, regulations, and internal policies governing account opening procedures, customer identification, and anti-money laundering (AML) measures. Conduct thorough Know Your Customer (KYC) checks and verification processes to mitigate risks associated with fraudulent activities.
    • Product Knowledge and Consultation: Possess in-depth knowledge of the bank's products and services, including the features, benefits, fees, and requirements associated with each account type. Provide expert guidance and personalized recommendations to customers based on their financial goals, transactional needs, and preferences.
    • Cross-Selling Opportunities: Identify opportunities to cross-sell additional banking products and services to customers during the account opening process. Offer relevant products such as debit cards, credit cards, online banking services, and investment options to enhance the customer's banking experience and meet their financial needs.
    • Customer Service Excellence: Deliver exceptional customer service throughout the account opening journey, ensuring a smooth and seamless experience for customers. Address any inquiries, concerns, or issues promptly and effectively, demonstrating professionalism, empathy, and a customer-centric approach.
    • Relationship Building: Build rapport and establish strong relationships with customers to foster loyalty and trust in the bank's brand. Follow up with customers after account opening to ensure satisfaction, answer any follow-up questions, and explore opportunities for further engagement and relationship development.
